Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Isle & Empire Shipping, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Isle & Empire Shipping provides courier and logistics services including but not limited to:

  • Shipping services from the USA to Jamaica

  • Air and sea freight shipping services where available

  • Local delivery services in Savanna-la-Mar and Grange Hill

  • Islandwide delivery via Knutsford Express where applicable

  • Customer referral rewards program

  • Shipping rewards points program

  • Package handling, coordination, and logistics support

Isle & Empire Shipping reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipments are processed regularly from the USA to Jamaica. Shipping schedules are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, airline or carrier schedules, inspections, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

Primary delivery areas:

  • Savanna-la-Mar

  • Grange Hill

Customers outside these areas may utilize Knutsford Express islandwide delivery services at their own expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported strictly at the customer’s own risk.

Isle & Empire Shipping assumes zero liability for loss, damage, delays, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins once a package is received at our designated warehouse or facility and ends once the package is handed over to:

  • The customer

  • Customs authorities

  • Airlines or shipping carriers

  • Third-party delivery partners

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor or retailer errors

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost or misdelivered before reaching our possession

  • Delays, losses, or damages caused by third parties

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging by vendors, senders, or customers.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, or breakable goods are shipped entirely at the owner’s risk regardless of packaging method.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all items comply with Jamaican and international shipping laws.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives, flammable, or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated, surrendered to authorities, or disposed of without refund. Isle & Empire Shipping assumes no liability for resulting fines, penalties, or losses.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are fully responsible for all customs declarations, duties, taxes, inspection fees, and government charges.

Isle & Empire Shipping assumes no liability for customs delays, inspections, seizures, penalties, or additional fees imposed by authorities.

9. Referral Rewards Program

Customers may receive $100 shipping credit for referring a new customer once the referred customer spends at least $3,000 in shipping services.

Referral rewards:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Are non-transferable

  • May be adjusted or discontinued at company discretion

10. Customer Points Rewards System

Customers earn points based on shipping spend:

  • $10 purchase = 10 points

  • $100 purchase = 100 points

Redemption value:

  • 100 points = $1 credit

  • 1,000 points = $10 credit

Points:

  • Have no cash value

  • Are non-transferable

  • May expire or change without notice

11. Payments

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash payments

All payments must be completed before shipment processing begins. Payments are non-refundable once processing starts.

12. Claims & Complaints

Claims must be submitted in writing within 72 hours of notification or receipt.

Supporting documentation such as invoices, receipts, and photos may be required. WhatsApp messages do not constitute official claims.

13. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages uncollected after 30 days may attract additional charges.

Packages uncollected after 60 days may be disposed of without further notice to recover storage and administrative costs. Customers remain responsible for outstanding balances.

14. Amendments

Isle & Empire Shipping reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Isle & Empire Shipping and the customer and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
